Software house
A software house is a commercial entity whose primary products are composed of software, i.e., computer programs. Notable examples of software houses are Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe Systems, Apple, Red Hat and Mfatix.
A software house will usually contain several groups of programmers working on software projects. They will normally follow one of the software development strategies such as SSADM. Thus, they will have to start from analysis, going through design, development, testing and finally implementing the computer system into the working environment. When a software has been developed,it will first be tested by the programmers, then the other non-technical staff in the software house might be asked to do some testing (alpha testing),etc.
